Ali is a journalist, podcaster, entrepreneur, and certified life coach based in New York City.
As a native New Yorker and mult-hyphenant. Ali has a passion for storytelling in various forms, particularly audio, video, and photography, and has gained valuable experience producing podcasts and her arts and culture coverage over the course of her career. She graduated with her bachelors of arts at The New School and is a Masters graduate of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. Her photography work has been featured on NPR and District Fray Magazine, for her photos of R&B artist Neffy.
As a former associate editor at LinkedIn, her role was to coordinate with the editorial team to build LinkedIn’s Top Startups Lists and Top Voices Lists, while also assisting with LinkedIn News podcast, Hello Monday. She is currently a contributor for BET.com and has joined the LinkedIn team as editorial associate where she is working with LinkedIn Editorial Productions on a range of Emmy-nominated video and audio series. She is also a certified life coach and BetterUp coach and is available for private personal coaching.
